James Holmes

JAMES HOLMES (Sandy/Man 2) trained at the Poor School. TV/Film credits include Spooks, The Catherine Tate Show, My Hero, The Truth About Pets, Comedy Nation, Rhona, The Stand Up Show, Liquid Eurovision, Pure Soap (all BBC), Peep Show, TV Go Home, nobleandsilver: GET OFF ME!, nobleandsilver: Comedy Lab (all C4), Jane Hall’s Big Bus Ride, The Geeks (both ITV), Top TV Soap Moments (five) and the movie Lava. Stage work includes Anorak of Fire (Edinburgh Festivals 1993/4/2004; Arts Theatre, London), Loaded, At Home With the Howards (both Edinburgh Festival 2004), States of Shock (Arcola Theatre), Catherine Tate (Soho Theatre), Absolution (BAC), Last Yellow (Chelsea Centre), Gee! Wow! (Edinburgh Festival 1994) and regular appearances on the UK stand up comedy circuit. Wrote and performed one man character comedy show Telly (Edinburgh Festival 2002). Other writing credits include Killing Time, Comedy Nation, Stop The World (all BBC) and British Soap Awards 2003 (ITV).

Nick Malinowski

NICK MALINOWSKI (Fred/Man 1) spent time with both Scarborough and Manchester youth theatres before working with the Yorkshire Theatre Company playing Carl in 24 Hours. He trained professionally at the Poor School and since graduating in 1996 his theatre appearances have included James in A Verse and a Chorus (Hen and Chickens), Will in Waiting at the Water’s Edge (Sorted Productions tour); Snargett in Stig of the Dump (West Yorkshire Playhouse); Skinny in Mojo (Latchmere/Edinburgh); Jack in Octopus Pie (Landor/Edinburgh) and Tailor’s boy in The Government Inspector (Almeida). Television work includes Silent Witness, Keen Eddie, Casualty, Where the Heart Is, Dinnerladies, Sunburn, Heartbeat, Mysteries, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates, The Scold’s Bridle and Big Women. He has also appeared on film in Fat Slags, Grim, Girl on a Moped and Catch It. He spent some time working as a street performer in Covent Garden and may have been heard on radio in Sergeant Musgrave’s Dance.

Mari-Claire Turley

MARI-CLAIRE TURLEY (Abbie). Mari-Claire’s career started on a red satin bed playing an underage porn star in The Bill. This year her roles seem to reflect a penchant for older men - she dated her mother’s ex in a Lynda la Plante feature film Mothers and Daughters (premiered in Cannes 2004), then fell in love with a vampire in an Italian tour of Dracula. Other roles have included Viola in Twelfth Night, Nina in The Seagull, Beth in A Lie of the Mind, Dominique in the feature film Reverb, and a psychic in Night and Day. The last time she worked with Phil was in The Very Nearly Love-Life of My Friend Paul at the Finburgh.

Daniel Higley

Daniel Higley has appeared in various plays and film projects
since he finished training in 1999. He was last seen on stage at The Swansea Grand playing Bruce in Beyond Therapy, a bizarre comedy by Christopher Durang. Until recently Daniel was also the regular presenter of Clappy Hour a weekly cabaret
night featuring diverse acts from singers and dance acts to
acrobats and trapeze artists. Daniel is soon to be seen on channel five in Britain’s Greatest Actors (...as Laurence Olivier)
